Vantaxa 20mg Tablet is a medicine prescribed to treat depression in adults. It belongs to a group of antidepressants known as serotonin modulator and stimulator (SMS). This medication helps to improve mood and energy levels, and reduce sadness and feelings of worthlessness in people with depression.

Vantaxa 20mg Tablet may be taken with or without food but take it at the same time each day to get the most benefit. The dose and how often you need it will be decided by your doctor so that you get the right amount to control your symptoms. It may be increased gradually. If you have trouble sleeping it may be best to take this medicine in the morning. It may take a few weeks before you start to feel better. Do not change the dose or stop taking it without talking to your doctor, even if you feel well. Your condition may get worse or you may suffer unpleasant withdrawal symptoms. Let your doctor know if you do not see any improvement after four weeks.

Some common side effects of this medicine include vomiting, nausea, and constipation. Keep taking the medicine but talk to a doctor if these side effects bother you. There may be ways of preventing or reducing them. You should avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medicine affects you.

Before taking it, you should tell your doctor if you have epilepsy, diabetes, liver or kidney disease, heart problems, glaucoma, drug addiction or bipolar disorder. These may affect your treatment. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult their doctor before taking it. Some other medicines may affect the way it works, especially other antidepressants and medicines called MAO inhibitors. Please tell your doctor about all the medicines you are taking to make sure you are safe.

Lacoset 150 Tablet is used to control and prevent epilepsy (seizures). It controls seizures or fits by decreasing the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.

Lacoset 150 Tablet may be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time, each day. If you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember as it can be life-threatening in some cases, so it is better to keep an extra stock always to avoid a missed dose. You should finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better and always consult your doctor before stopping this medicine as it may increase seizure frequency. Inform your doctor if you have any heart-related problems, before starting your treatment with this medicine.

The use of this medicine may cause some side effects such as headaches, dizziness, dry mouth, muscle spasms, blurred vision, nausea, diplopia (double vision). Most of these side effects are self-limiting and they usually improve with time. Keep a watch on your weight, as using this medicine can cause weight gain. Eat healthily and exercise regularly to manage it.
